What Are Clues?

Clues are supernatural rifts between worlds that lead you to your Boss Target. Investigating a Clue will gray out sections of the Map where the Boss Target is not located. When using Dark Sight, Clues give off a blue glow that helps guide you to their location.

When you find the third and final Clue, the Boss Target's location will be marked on the Map. You do not have to find the Clues to find the Boss Target, but Clues collected will reap rewards at the end of the Mission.

Target Icons and Clue Indicators

The number of Clues you have discovered is indicated by a circle fraction around the Clue icon in the upper-left corner of the screen. Once you encounter a Boss Target, the Clue icon(s) are replaced with a Target Status icon, indicating the health of the Boss Target. This is visible to all teams who have at least one Hunter inside the Boss Target's lair.

Red Clues

Clues glow red when enemy Hunters are nearby. Be careful and prepare for an ambush.
